Help Our Bulldogs Become Builders
Remember when you made a napkin holder in woodshop, learned how to sew a pillow, or learned how to draw a schematic of a house? One of the most powerful ways people learn is by "doing."
Ingrid B. Lacy Middle School is working to bring learning to the next level through the IBL Innovation Lab. All of our students will have the chance to design, create, problem solve, and build.
With your help and assistance, our students will be able to "learn by doing." Students will have the chance to apply concepts they are learning to real world situations and needs in their community through IBL's Innovation Lab.
Our vision for the IBL Innovation Lab is to give students access to tools to innovate, create, and fabricate using concepts taught in the classroom. Some tools we are looking to include are:
• Wood carver • Robotic kits
• 3D printer • Paint
• Laser cutter • Tables
• Circuitry supplies • Shelving/Storage Bins
• Power tools
Our goal is to provide our students with resources to make their designs a reality.
Your contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference in the lives of our students and help prepare them to become our future leaders and innovators. Please help make our vision a reality. Share with others to help.
