Hello Everyone! Thank you for taking your time to read my story. My name is Bukky. I am a mental health nurse and a mother. I have a passion for helping people maximise their potentials to achieve their goals. I am committed to making a difference to the people and community around me, especially when it comes to women and children. The reality is that there are a lot of women who are experiencing loss of power, freedom, and self-expression in each of their situations. If you have been in a position where you have experienced these things, you will understand how incredibly frustrating and disempowering it feels. We all have the resources within us to be able to transform our situations. Sometimes we need a little help to channel our strengths positively and in the right direction.
I ran a Women Empowerment Workshop in February which was well attended by approx. 40 people. It proved to me the need to run more events like that to reach more women and fulfil the demand of the women that attended who wanted to know about future events. I aim to make my women empowerment movement global. However, this is only possible if I'm able to pay my fees. The almost certain future of not being able to create jobs or build a system to empower women in different aspects of their lives, is that there will be more people out there feeling frustrated and hopeless; and children lacking direction in their lives because their mothers do not have the awareness or skills required to guide their children on the path to follow to achieve their dreams or make a contribution to society.

I made the decision to enrol for a Masters in Entrepreneurship in Trinity College Dublin, and I am pleased to say that I was offered a place on the programme. The reason I chose to enrol in Trinity College Dublin is that Trinity Business School is first in Europe for producing Entrepreneurs and Start-ups. Why Entrepreneurship? I am committed to contributing to people and the planet. I aim to achieve this by creating a business to provide a source of living for others and to build a structure that can support women to take control of their lives and learn to live life powerfully while positively influencing their children. The Entrepreneurship programme gives me the avenue to achieve the goals by developing the specialist knowledge and confidence I need to make these goals possible.
