We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you from Thrive Student Ministries for believing in our vision and heart for reaching youth in our community. Our 2017 student conference was amazing and only possible because of sponsors like you! We have been extremely blessed to see how God has continued to move in the hearts of students and we are excited to see God continue to do great things in our ministry.
Because of last year’s success in the growth of our ministry, we have a vision of becoming a non-profit organization. This non-profit will operate under the name “Built for the Wild Association” and will provide camps and conferences for churches, youth groups, and college students. Our mission will be to present the gospel in a dynamic way that allows the youth to connect and clearly hear about the love of Christ. We bring a fresh expression of Jesus to the generation, with a voice and medium that resonate with youth culture. We’re not interested in making Built Wild known; we want the name of Jesus to be known. Whether we are hosting a large outreach event or providing the evangelistic voice at another organization’s event the common goal of everything we do is to share the hope of Jesus.
Although we provide outreach events for other organizations, we also host our own—Built Wild summer camp and Built Wild student conference (formally known as Thrive summer camp and conference). Eighty percent of our students that attended the “Built for the Wild Conference” attended free of charge. This year we would love to extended the same opportunity for students with your support. This year’s theme for our events is “ Tomorrow We Live.” Paul said that if Christ never died, if He never rose again then we should eat, drink, and be merry because in the end tomorrow we die. But we all know that Christ did die and rise so “Tomorrow We Live“.
Would you prayerfully consider partnering with us financially to make this upcoming event a success? This year as we work to get our ministry established we are incubating our ministry under an existing 501(c) 3, the Aspire Movement, but all of your donations go specifically to our event and are tax deductible.
