Building a shelter as a safe place

Next week we’re going to be building a shelter in an allotment as a place for the community to go to when in need of peace. We will also be using the shelter to collect rainwater, which could be used to water plants on other allotments, or for those in need. We aim to make this shelter as homely and welcoming as possible to offer a quiet space for members of the community who may be suffering from mental illnesses or addiction, or who just want an escape from everyday life.
