Building a land speed rocket engine

Achieving the Impossible

I'm Mark Read and have worked with Rosco McGlashan since 2009 on Australia's world land speed record project. We are developing the world's most powerful car engine. It is equivalent to around 200,000hp. We are raising funds to go to USA and have initial discussions on our rocket engine design and build and would really appreciate your generous support.

Imagine climbing into a rocket powered car and accelerating through the sound barrier in just 14 seconds, and reaching a 1000mph in just 20 seconds! This is what the Aussie Invader 5R project is trying to do. We have for the last 15 years been planning, designing and building the world's most powerful car.

The car is Aussie Invader 5R and it is now a reality, and will run a single bi-propellant rocket engine, producing 62,000 lbs of thrust (equivalent to about 200,000 horsepower).

FOR EVERY PLEDGE OVER $30 YOUR NAME WILL BE FEATURED ON OUR WEBSITES "THANK YOU" PAGE!

The Car is Completed

The actual car is now built and our focus has now turned to the development of the single bi-propellant rocket engine. Aussie Invader 5R has brought together some exceptionally talented people from very different backgrounds and global locations, all volunteers and are working to achieve the impossible,  a car capable of 1000mph on land, and with YOUR help we can.

Aussie Engineering & USA Power

The rocket engine development is being undertaken by a USA company called Interorbital Systems, and a series of meetings, discussions and demonstrations are planned in the next month to move forward with the main engine build. However these meeting cannot happen without us raising some funds to engage Interorbital Systems, with a series of meetings and technical demonstrations to follow. The more we raise the further and quicker we can develop our land speed cars power unit.

Risks and challenges

We are not going to tell you a project like this does not come with its risks and dangers, but we have never wavered in our determination in the 15 years, having hit setbacks, we have always managed to overcome them.

This never say die attitude has taken us so from concept to completed car build, and we don't intend to stop until the land speed record is broken. Please help support our project to get the development of our rocket engine started.
