Building a School Kitchen-Cambodia

Cambodian Buddhism Association for Vulnerable Children (CBAVC) supports two communities in Chi Kreng district, Siem Reap, Cambodia.
We are seeking your assistance in raising funds to build a school kitchen and lunch room for the 300+ school children of Chi Kreng district so no child goes hungry while getting an education to better their future.
Imagine going to school and not having anything to eat. Then imagine being exposed to torrential rain and exhausting heat without a roof above your head. What seems like a social norm in the developed world is not the norm in Cambodia. This is daily life for these school children in Chi Kreng district.
The benefits from this project will be first and foremost the children and the community. It is crucial for a child to have food when growing and the energy to learn. Local under privileged people from the community will be employed to construct this project. Locals will be provided much needed jobs and job skills with the help of volunteers.
The funds will go directly to building the school kitchen and lunch room in Chi Kreng district. Any additional funds raised will be used for building water wells, putting in bathrooms, and supporting the school.
CBAVC currently supports over 20 villages with safe water access and wells. To date CBAVC have built over 275+ water wells. Theses water wells help with providing fresh drinking water, support agriculture and farming for essential food production.
With the rainy season fast approaching funds are needed urgently. Caason Group is directly supporting CBAVC and has contributed $2,500 toward this building project.
