Coast FM Cairns Radio repairs!

CoastFM 101.9, is a Cairns, North Queensland, Australian based community radio station.  The station is non profit and allows members of the community to come forward and host their own live radio programs! 

CoastFM is a valuable training station for budding radio presenters. Radio students then leave high school with an excellent headstart on the start of their future career in the radio industry.  

12 months ago, the station suffered a major blow when its radio tower corroded and fell, this has resulted in a smaller broadcast footprint, which in turn has resulted in the station not being able to fully service its previous community base.  The station, through insurance has managed to have a brand new radio tower built, however we cannot get it installed due to the previous installer leaving town! We are now actively trying to raise $$$$ in order to get our tower installed and the station back to its former glory.
