VIVID Artist Spaces is a Treasure Valley non-profit collective serving artists and the community by:
~Creating a hub where artists work side by side in a  
   supportive and healthy environment, sharing
   professional expertise
~Nurturing professional growth by offering workshops
   for artists and the community, and exhibit space to
   showcase the creative process
~Including artists from all backgrounds and skill levels
~Becoming a gateway for innovation and exchange
   between artists locally and internationally.

Vivid Artist Spaces came about after three strangers found each other. Candy Canning, Jane Tharpe, and Jessica Tookey all had a vision of creating a space where many artists worked, exhibited and taught together. Through their connections and during conversations, the need of area artists for studio space outside of kitchens and garages became apparent and imperative. They also noticed that artists felt it essential to collaborate with other artists to grow and learn. In addition, the desire for quality exhibition space was growing alongside the burgeoning art scene in Idaho.

Thus, VIVID Artist Spaces was born.

In 2016, the opportunity for a creative art center came up in the heart of the Vista corridor and VIVID recognized it as the answer to their vision.
Now, in October of 2017, VIVID and roughly 25 artists will be opening it’s door to artists and the community! The excitement is palpable!

However, with ​less than one month before mov​ing​ in, the necessity for supplies, equipment, furnishings and operating expenses is still great!
