Move Mountains for Buddy Leach!

Donation protected
Our friend, Buddy Leach was diagnosed with cancer on March 15, 2018. Stage 4 Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the tonsil and lymph nodes was later confirmed. There was also a spot on the right kidney as well as an ascending aortic aneurysm.

On April 6, 2018, Buddy underwent 6 hours of surgery to remove the tonsil tumor, part of the soft pallet, and muscles on the left side of his mouth. He also had a radical bilateral neck dissection to remove all of the lymph nodes in his neck. Unfortunately, the cancer was not contained and one of the 24 lymph nodes on the right side involved metastatic carcinoma.

Two days later, Buddy had an artery hemorrhage in the back of the throat which required 5 days of hospitalization. He has had to have extensive dental work performed, swallowing therapy, and recently was diagnosed with pneumonia. Buddy now has a feeding tube and has lost over 20 lbs.

Buddy has a radiation oncologist, Dr. Lopator as well as a medical oncologist, Dr. Sumrall. They have opted for 33 radiation sessions and a chemo treatment once weekly for that same time period.

Buddy's wife, Dot, also underwent a double knee replacement in 2017 and has been unable to return to work since May 2017 due to complications with the knee prosthetic rejection.

Quite a lot to process and handle, not to mention continue the daily financial obligations of a household. Please help this lovely Christian couple with your donations, prayers, and support.

Romans 12: 10 says "Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves."
