Barb Copeland was diagnosed in January of 2017 with a
stage 4 malignant brain tumor, glioblastoma. She has had the tumor removed and soon will be begin chemo and radiation. After sprinting her way through that, alternative therapies are being offered to her by her physicians.
Insurance will cover conventional treatment, but the treatment offered after might not be.
This is a serious situation that Barb is tackling with humor, positive thoughts, the love of family and friends.
But that will not cover bills that will creep on their family soon.
Barb and her family want you to know that she will use these funds for her treatment, but if she doesn't use them they will be donated to the American Cancer Society to help find a cure for brain cancer.
Barb rings English handbells and attends Bayview Week of Handbells most years. She is an avid golfer, sings, reads, and knits at every opportunity. She loves spending time with her family and freinds, especially with her one and only granddaughter, Marlena.
You can support Barb by sending her positive messages, dropping a card in the mail, offering a meal, saying a prayer AND helping fund her alternative treatment so her full life can move forward!
