Bruce's Medical Emergency

Recently, while out of the state, Bruce Alexander had a stroke.
Wow! The guy that you know as my husband, a local counselor and that helpful guy at The Tranquil Computer is right now very far from home, in and out of the hospital, and trying to get his life put back together.
The stroke was by itself shock enough but it also brought to light some heart conditions that can be fixed with open heart surgery. The problem is that Bruce is out of town and not able to work. So, even though insurance will cover most of the hospital bills, we could really use some help right now with major expenses like rehabilitation, the costs for accommodations before the doctors say it’s ok to travel, and the downtime from not being able to work. Life goes on at The Tranquil Computer, but as you can imagine I am hard pressed with both running the shop and flying back and forth to be by Bruce’s side.
This GoFundMe page is to ask for financial help, and any help we receive would be greatly appreciated! We are setting a $10,000 goal to cover costs like airfare, rehab, accommodations, and time lost from work. Could you possibly help with a donation? Any amount can make all of the difference in the world!
We all want to see Bruce up and about, answering questions at the Tranquil Computer and seeing clients again soon. The open heart surgery is scheduled for September 22nd and he should be back to the smiling, happy guy you know and love by the end of October.
Bruce wants to remind all of his friends to take a moment to be grateful for the wonderful things we all have in our lives right now.
