I am creating this on behalf of my husbands family and this is his story...
I want to start off by openly thanking God for his mercy and grace and for protecting my mom. On January 24, 2018 a life changing experience happened to my parents in that their house and belongings were consumed by a fire. They lost pretty much everything in the home in the detrimental effects of the blaze. My mom was awakened from an afternoon nap by the sound of popping and cracking in the ceiling in which made her alert. Then as the house started filling up with smoke she was able to get outside on the porch to get some fresh air and call 911. Still not aware that the home was now burning, someone saw the smoke from the road and pulled in the driveway and told her to get off of the porch because the flames were up in the trees on the back side of the house. Our family has sure had it’s fair share of loss these past several years with the loss of both my sisters, eight years ago and just this past September, and now the loss of our family home. With no homeowners insurance, they are going to need physical help, prayers, and if your heart leads you, they are going to need monetary blessings to help them get through this gut wrenching predicament.
