MAKE TV HISTORY:
Actors Jason Lawrence Olive (HBOs The Comeback, Greg Araki's Kanboom, The Game) and Kent Faulcon (Men In Black, Selma, Blackish) have been working together, for the last 5 years, on the break out comedy Tyler Perry's For better or Worse on the OWN Network.
The duo have now written and prodcuced their own single-camera comedy called Brothers In Law. A show about love, life in LA and the law. Together, Jason and Kent have reached out to some of their favorite actor friends to join them to make Brothers In Law a realtiy. Actors like Gerry Bednob (40 Year Old Virgin), Monique Gabriela Curnen (NBC's Taken), Michael Hudson (Dirty Grandpa), Ami Vashi (Miss India) and many more.
The buzz on the show and its amazing cast is fantastic! The project was recently mentioned in an article about the break out year our actress Monique Gabriela Curnen is having: Huffington Post
We also just added award winning Director of Photography Kenneth Stipe to our team. Kenneth's experience behind the camera is impressive. He has helmed over 60 projects and is passionate about the type of story telling we are doing.
Brothers In Law is an irreverant single-camera comedy that brings together one of the most diverse TV show casts ever assembled. It is an honset, if but comical, depiction of what love, life in Los Angeles and fighting for jsutice is really like.
Everything, scripts, actors, locations, post prodcution editors are all set to begin shooting at the end of April.
We are going to work our butts off to shoot 6 (5) minute genre-bending epsidoes that will air FOR FREE on YouTube. To do this WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!
Giving birth to a new TV show without the help of networks isn't easy. At the same time we don't have to answer to anyone but our fellow actors. We have enlisted the help of Producer Dr. Lana Bettencourt and she has crafted a bare-bones budget for us actors to retain creative control and to shoot all 6 episodes. Instead of the normal $500,000.00+ budget we will be shooting the entire web-series for $35,000.00. All with the same quality and attention to detail.
If you could use a good laugh and you enjoy bold, out of the box comedy with a truly diverse cast of talented, courageous actors please help us... WE WANT TO WORK WITH GERRY BEDNOB!

Brothers In Law is a new 1/2-hour comedy from the irreverent minds of the stars of Tyler Perry's For Better and Worse and HBO's The Comeback. Brothers In Law, stars Jason Lawrence Olive and Kent Faulcon as two high school rivals who, years later, are reunited serving as opposing counsel in a high profile sexual harassment lawsuit.
Unbeknownst to them, this chance reunion will set a cavalcade of events in motion that might just have this odd-couple trying the unthinkable... working together!
