Broken horse :'(

I am trying to help a family who are good friends of mine, this is the story:
"Friday" is a palomino quarter horse mare, She's been a loving addition to the family. She has always been good natured and well behaved for anyone to be around until this past summer we noticed something changing. She began to act irritated, and bossy not only towards her humans but towards her other horse friends, even showing some aggressiveness. It put her family on high alert knowing this wasn't her usual self. After speaking to many horse professionals, and trying diet change, massage, rehab training, essential oils, chiropractic, and R&R Friday still wasn't improving. Her family and friends were sad and very frustrated. Finally someone suggested having an ultrasound done on her as sometimes horses can have cysts on their ovaries and it throws their hormones into a whirlwind. Sure enough after many vet checks and sleepless nights an ultrasound was performed and sure enough Friday has inflamed tissue, and an extremely enlarged ovary. After an injection of hormones hoping it would help her to get back on track nothing changed, surgery has been talked about but seems unattainable because of cost. Friday essentially needs to be spayed, if this isn't an option her aggressiveness may worsen and euthanasia will be the only option. We cannot imagine having to make that decision for such a young and otherwise loveable mare. She's part of the family, loves helping the kids to learn horsemanship skills and is a great best friend. The surgery needs to happen ASAP and unfortunately her family will have a very difficult time coming up with all the money. We are asking for help with some of the cost, not all as her family does have some money they can put forth but they are about $2,000 short. PLEASE, help save Friday and help her live a long and happy and healthy life. :) thank you!
