Brittany's Medical Fund
Brittany Vellucci, 28, has recently been diagnosed with brain cancer. She has already undergone two major surgeries to remove a brain tumor and is now on a course of chemotherapy and radiation treatment via The Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston and The Hospital of Central CT.
She had just graduated from a nursing program and was about to start an exciting new career when the cancer was discovered. That career is now on hold. Brittany is a fighter; even after her first craniotomy in January she was able to take the state nursing exam in February - and passed! Brittany has always helped and given back to others; now we have the chance to do that for her and her husband, Joe.
The Velluccis have medical insurance but it's simply not nearly enough to cover the significant cancer treatment expenses. Brittany cannot work, Joe has already used up his PTO, and the bills are beginning to add up.
Every little bit will help while Brittany fights to beat the cancer.
