In 2002 my 3 sisters and I lost our mother. My sisters (10, 12, &16) ended up in foster care and began a downward spiral. As many of you may already know each and every one of us has struggled with mental health (including me).
•Tiffanie turned to alcohol to numb the pain away. This quickly led to Tiffanie’s death from end stage liver disease on May 29, 2017 at the age of 30.
•Kirsten began using drugs and alcohol occasionally but was fighting her own demons. On June 11,2017, less than 2 weeks after the loss of Tiffanie, Kirsten took her life as well as her 2yr old sons Jaxtons life.
•Brittani began using drugs heavily. We begged & pleaded with her. She would start rehab but never follow thru. On November 14, 2017 Brittani was found of was appears to be an overdose. We can’t say for sure until toxicology reports come back.
As you can imagine mentally it’s hard to cope with losing all of your siblings in 6 months. In addition the cost of so many deaths in just over 6 months is far from easy! All 3 leave behind a wonderful caring step father and sister as well as many, many friends & family who have helped along the way. But most importantly Brittani leaves behind her 1 1/2 yr old daughter.
My goal is to raise enough money for the cremation. I’d also like to be able to get urns for all 4 so that their step dad and I may both have an urns for their ashes. Anything left over I would like to put towards Brittani’s daughters Christmas.
