Brinley’s American Girl Project

This is Brinley, my 6 year old daughter.  10 months ago Brinley was in the hospital and taking IV medication, the hospital staff told Brinley that if she would learn to swallow pills to get off of the IV medication, they would give her an American Girl Doll. Brinley worked so hard to learn how to swallow pills to get that doll! After being released from the hospital Brinley prayed to bless the hospital tenfold, which would have been 10 dolls! She waitressed at a local restaurant and received “tips” that totaled $1500! Brinley purchased 15 American Girl dolls for Saint Francis Children’s Hospital in Tulsa. Brinley has decided to set a new goal of wanting to purchase more dolls for other children’s hospitals. Brinley said, “I just want to bring a smile to other kids faces the way that my doll made me smile when I was sick.”
