The mother did not have access to the girls passports, birth certificates, or any other legal documents. There was a court order for Royce to have all of these documents because they believed she could, at any time, take the girls. However, seeing as how she was their mother, she apparently didn't have trouble replacing the passports, birth certificates, etc but we still to this day do not know exactly how she was able to get them out of the country. We are also aware that for international flights with children you have to have a letter from the other parent stating you have their permission to take the children out of the country....apparently they don't look into this very well because Royce most certainly did not give her permission. It is clear to us that if someone wants to do something bad enough, they figure out a way. I hope this clears up any confusion you may have. Please let us know if you have any other questions. You are always welcome to e-mail Royce at email@example.com or call him at 972-821-2738. Thanks so much for your support and keeping our family in your thoughts and prayers.
Wow! We are so blessed to have such an amazing network of people who truly care about getting the girls home safe and sound. We are humbled that we have raised $14, 575 in one weeks time. Unbelievable. Thank you all so much for your kind words, prayers, contacts, advice, and generous donations. We are forever grateful to you all.
Many people have spoke with either Royce or I but we have been inundated with phone calls, e-mails, texts, and Facebook messages so we haven't had a chance to return every single phone call. If anyone feels the need to speak with us, please don't hesitate to call. Royce's cell number is 972-821-2738. Also, please keep in mind that he is still working so he may not answer your call right away. You can also e-mail him directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thanks so much for everyone's prayers and support!
We cannot thank you all enough for each and every donation and prayer that has come our way. We are truly overwhelmed with all of the calls, texts, e-mails, and Facebook messages that have come our way. We have both been very emotional and moved by all of your generosity. Words cannot describe our gratitude.
On May 29, 2008 my ex-wife came to pick up our daughters for
her visitation weekend. I put my 4 &
6 year old daughters in the car and with the oldest crying that she didn't want
to go and I told them I would see them on Sunday. When Sunday came I found out that their
mother had kidnapped them and took them to Russia. I have had no real communication with them
since. On June 7, 2013 I received a call
from the US Embassy in Moscow letting me know that their mother has died from cancer. Now I find out that I have legal custody of
the girls in Russia (I've had full custody in the USA the whole time) and that
they will be placed in an orphanage in less than a month. We are asking for donations and prayers along with any other help that
can be given that will allow me to go and pick up my daughters. We need roundtrip airfare for myself and one
way for my daughters coming back. I am
not sure of what other expenses may occur because I don't know how long I may
have to stay in Russia or what legal expenses I may have. Thank you all for your help in bringing these
girls home to a loving family.
