Please help our family to continue to protect our daughter from being taken across the country to live with people who she has no relationship with. This little girl has lived with us since birth and she is now three years old and securely attached to our family and her brothers and sisters and to her grandparents and birth parents who want her to stay. This story has been in the news this week as several people are working together to allow her to stay with us in her home and within her Métis cultural family. As of now they have taken her from us and have moved her to another foster home and then want to move her again to another foster home in Ontario. We are desperate to protect this innocent soul from this kind of unecessary trauma at the hands of government workers who do not even know the child but claim to be acting in her best interest. Please help us. We are not a wealthy family but have used all of our resources in our fight and we don't want to give up! She is too precious and loved to walk away from. Any parent out there could understand how it would feel to have your child suddenly taken from a good home for no reason other than a government policy. We deeply appreciate any help you can give.
