Help me bring my boys home

Donation protected

My name is Ryan Little. Two years ago I was in a relationship with a women and she didn't inform me she was married. I found out the hard way, you see out of that brief relationship, two of the best things in my life were conceived, my twin boys, they were born April 28,2014, but unknown to me was the Paternity Act 205 of 1956. The Act states, if the Mother is married at the time of conception or birth the “husband” is he legal father-it is his name that was put on my boys birth certificates NOT mine! Since then I have been fighting to get my name on their birth certificates, but MY story don't end yet...in January 2015, I found out that my boys were Wards of the State for neglect and abuse and they were going to be adopted out in April, never to be seen by me or my family again. I immediately sought for help...DHS, the adoption center that was following up on the boys and attorneys, to my HORROR they told me that there was nothing I could do to stop it, unless the husband denies the children but no one knew where he was! I couldn't accept not ever seeing my boys again so I hired an attorney, jumped thru a ton of technicalities and finally proved through DNA testing that I am the father, now my name is on their birth certificates and they should be able to come home to me and my new wife but NO! That was one little step through this whole mess, now we have to prove we are fit parents for them! So the court gave us a “suggestive” list of things that my wife and I should do but since they are not ordered, the courts will NOT pay for them. So we are going to Parenting classes, counseling, drug testing and physiological evaluation testing all out of pocket. We are doing everything possible to get custody of our boys. Through our efforts we now receive “supervised” visits with the boys, we have not missed a one for the two months given to us (and won't til this is over). I'll be honest, my past isn't the best, but it's the past! I have three lives plus mine I have to take care of now, so I have changed and the Referee and the Prosecuting Attorney could see that, so they proved me fit as a parent in a Sanders Hearing. So you would think that I have my children home with us but again NO! My story keeps going...now (1 month later) another Sanders Hearing has been called to prove us fit parents again! Once again I was proven a fit father. So here we are following the “suggested” to do list that was created for us, and this is where our hardship begins...all these “suggested” things and visitation can ONLY be done during work hours, so I am averaging 20 hours a week add the cost of attorneys to that, it's more than we can afford. Our bills are falling behind and we can't get custody of the boys without a stable home for them to come home to. We have begged from our immediate family, borrowed from friends and sold everything that we own that isn't a necessity to keep this process going, focusing on the boys coming home. This latest hurdle has put us down, we now have to go to the Court of Appeals, and that is at least $4500. towards an attorney plus all other fees that will occur with this process, which we don't have! I (we) need help, PLEASE donate to our GO FUND ME account, so my boys are finally home with my wife and I, being held in our loving arms so they can feel safe and loved. Thank you for reading my story and God bless.
