Bringing Tim home

I'm reaching out to everyone because we are in need for some help. My brother Timothy has been in the hospital since November 1st. He developed an infection called osteomyelitis in his thigh and hip bones that spread. This is the reason for being in the hospital and having six operations. The extent of damage to his bones was very bad and it was putting his life in danger there for the doctors had to remove about 8in of both femur bones where they connect to the hip, both hip sockets, both hip bones, tail bone and part of his pelvic bone. All of the infected bone had to be removed to stop the infection from spreading. Part of Tim's recovering process was to be placed in a special Rehab on a special bed that causes 0 pressure for healing wounds and that came crashing down on us today when we were told his insurance would not pay for this rehab. We have plenty of family and friends to help with Tim when we go home but one very important thing that we need we cannot afford is Timothy needs a special low air loss alternating mattress, that unfortunately cost more money then we have. Asking for financial help like this is something we didn't want to do, but he needs this bed so very badly. I know we are right here with the holidays literally around the corner any help no matter how small the donation can help go a long way.
