Bringing Syble Peace

Syble Erwin is my grandmother who is one of the most amazing woman in the world who would give everything up to a stranger if they needed it. She is a God fearing woman and has always been there for me. This past weekend when I went to Texas I wanted to surprise her and show up so when I called her to ask if she was home she told me she was in a nursing home which I was not aware of.

She is connected to a breathing machine, feeding tub, and has a colostomy bag. She had a stroke which caused hanging foot. I was told that she doesn’t have much time left and I found out that my family can’t afford to put her on hospice to keep her comfortable until she passes and her insurance isn’t set up to cover it. She is in a Nursing home in McKinney Texas. She has been confined to her bed for 3 weeks now. They have not even tried to move her or do any therapy  so I would like to raise money to buy equipment for example a reclining wheelchair that will hold her IV bag, feeding tub, and oxygen tank. I want to get her a recliner to transport her in so she can relax and it keeps her moving around to stop her from getting bed sores and help contribute to medical bills so that it is not left on my grandfather to pay. I want to raise as much as I can and I am not sure how much it will all cost but every dollar counts. Once I raise enough money to get half of the equipment I plan to go down there and stay at the hotel up the street so I can go spend all day with her for at least a week and be able to transport her outside to the garden and read her scriptures. I will be bathing her and taking care of her at the nursing home while I am there to get the last bit of time I have with her. She is alone in there and scared.  Thank you all so much
