Bringing Home #4
It's a BOY!!!
A birth mother has asked us to parent her child. She is due with her Baby Boy on October 15th. We said YES!
We thought adoption wasn't going to happen. God has completely surprised us by this, and yet....we shouldn't be surprised. This is amazing!
Would you like to be a part of our journey? We meet our son in approximately three weeks. Over 300 people partnered with us to bring Zora home. I'm overwhelmed thinking of the love and grace given to our family.
We love our Community. Thank you for praying with us, supporting us, loving our family...even those not with us yet... It takes a village. We love our village!
There are so many people to pray for too!
Please pray for:
*The mother....we are so thankful to her. She *chose* us and what a humbling and terrifying feeling that is. We honor her and know that she chose life for her child, and is entrusting him to us. She will grieve. This is a journey for her marked with pain and love SO DEEP. Cover her in prayer please!
*For baby boy! For safety and for him to receive our love and the affection of three older siblings! Oh my gracious, he is so loved by them already. For the years to come as we walk this road with him and answer what questions come, when they come. For him and Zora to have a beautiful relationship as parts of their stories reflect each other's....I.am.in.awe.
*For all of us. For our adoption agency. For our foster agency as we have to step away. For the doctors caring for those we love sooo much come mid-October.
We are still in shock! Wow...grace upon grace and praying for more grace.
We are having a BOY. WHAT?!
If you are able and joyfully willing, we invite you to give. From pennies to dollars, every.little.bit.helps.
**If you donate on here, 2.9% is taken as a transaction fee AND a $.30 donation to the platform. Contact me if you wish to give directly to our agency and receive a tax deductible receipt.
100% of the total need must be in hand once we receive Baby Boy from the hospital. If you'd like to be a part of this journey and have your name around his Seal (see how our daughter's seal is surrounded by names!), all it takes is a dollar. Actually, all it takes is a handful of pennies! As a special little girl who helped bring Zo home can tell you <3
