Bring my cats to Portland, OR

Hi, I am Adriana Gasperi, AKA gatos ilimitados. Leaving my country, my home, my family, my friends is not easy, and it’s even more painful leaving my companions, those who know me as a vegan artist and an animal activist, know that I love my cats with all my heart and I’m raising money to pay for their trip from Caracas, Venezuela to Portland, Oregon, finally they are on their way because we ask a close friend for a loan which we have to pay back. Some might think this campaign is not important but I need my cats more than anything, home is where they are, my emotional support depends very much on them. My husband, a doctor in medicine, is going to volunteer in a medical research at the Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU), and I am looking for an art gallery that can sponsor me to obtain my talents Visa so I can stay here with him and help out with our expenses.


As you might know, our situation in Venezuela for humans and animals is critical, we have no food, medicines or vaccines, and all these added to the political situation, unfortunately,  has forced many of us to emigrate to different countries looking for safety and a better quality of life, since we don't know for how long we will stay in Oregon, we have no other choice than to bring them with us, each cat trip costs 900US$ so we need all the help we can get. Please all cat people, there’s no small contribution. I will appreciate it with my soul forever. Adriana.


ESPAÑOL: Tal vez muchos piensen que mi campaña no es importante, pero mis gatos son mi hogar y ya es suficientemente difícil tener que dejarlo todo atrás, familia, amigos y además mis compañeros. Aquellos que me conocen como persona, activista por los animales y a través de mi arte gatuno, saben que amo a mis gatos como mis hijos y como ya saben los traslados de las mascotas desde Venezuela son muy costosos y necesito su ayuda con lo que puedan, ya vienen en camino y tuvimos que pedir un préstamo para pagar sus traslados, son mi vida, y sé que la situación en Venezuela es precaria para humanos y animales, por nada en el mundo los habría dejado pasando trabajo. Ninguna ayuda es pequeña, también pueden ayudarme compartiendo mi campaña. Gracias! Adriana!
