Imagine at 28, you're ripped away from your home and the only life you ever knew. You're sent to a foreign place where you are separated from your wife of 15 years and your four children; your mother and two brothers who were always so close to you. This is what happened to Manny a year and a half ago.
Living in Juarez, Manny and his family worked hard to try and find ways to bring him back home. He was often visited by his family, yet he spent most of his time lonely and feeling hopeless, unable to see a way out of an impossible situation. On September 9th, in an act of despair, Manny took his own life in the hovel that he was living in. Please help lay Manny's body to rest so he and his family can find the peace they deserve.
We are asking for help to cover the cost of transport from Mexico to the US, and funeral arrangements. The unexpected cost has become a burden on the family and we need all the help we can get. We appreciate anything you can contribute. Thank you.
