Bring a Soldier Home for his PaPa's funeral

To everyone he was "papa." Jim was such a sweet and loving man, willing to help anyone in need. He had an energy that attracted everyone around him no matter where he was.
Papa Jim was diagnosed with bladder cancer last spring. It was a world wind of ups and downs trying to figure out what to do and what would work. Different treatments tried and discussed, and just when we thought things were starting to look up it took a turn. Papa's cancer metastasized. Shortly after he developed pneumonia and RSV. Papa passed away peacfully on 01/25/2020.
Dustin's fondest memories of his papa was the quality time they spend together in a friendly competition of golf or all of the time spent on the boat on those warm summer days. Dustin always admired and looked up to his papa, especially papa's unconditional love he had for not only his family but anyone he befriended. Being the only grandparent he was able to grow up with and come so close to, being away during this difficult time has proven a challenge for Dustin.
Dustin is currently away serving our country and wants nothing more than to be able to come home to be a part of the celebration of life for his papa. The catch is we have to pay for it ourselves. I'm sure most of you know that it is not cheap to fly overseas and back on such a short notice, and this is why we are sadly asking for your help. Anything you choose to donate is GREATLY appreciated but never expected. We know others have their own daily expenses. Money is needed by 1/31/2020.
