THE GOAL: to see many more like me walk across the stage to receive their degree in higher education.
I'm the product of a small town in South Carolina. I was able to obtain a quality education by receiving scholarships of varying magnitudes. Those scholarships changed the course of my life. In return, I want to do the same for children in my hometown.
My hope is to annually award at least 1 student a $1000 scholarship giving them the opportunity to set their lives on a bright path.
2015-2016 saw the first recipient off to Francis Marion University in Florence, SC.
In 2016 -2017, the funds were not available.
However we were able to award another recipient in 2017-2018 who just started at Lander University in Greenwood, SC.
The scholarship is geared towards minority (African American) students with the hopes of impacting that community.
Please help me help others in 2018-2019.
