Bridlington CYP is a local charity operating out of the Sports Centre on Gypsey Road.
Over 400 people a week access the centre to take part in activities such as Football, Boxing, Karate, Netball, Table Tennis, Majorettes, youth clubs and other activities.
The Club aims to provide affordable activities and opportunities to local residents who would otherwise be excluded from taking part.
Bridlington CYP is ran by volunteers all wanting to put something back into the local community and any money raised is reinvested into providing further and improved opportunities.
On Friday 25th May to celebrate local radio day and what local radio can do Yorkshire Coast Radio's own Paddy in the morning and newsreader Jon Burke will be doing a three legged walk through Bridlington, Scarborough and Whitby to raise money for local charities.
Bridlington CYP are delighted that they have chosen us for their Bridlington leg of the challenge which will start from the Old town and 10am and work down towards the harbour via the CYP Sports Centre.
Anyone wanting to donate to the CYP for their efforts can do so through this page and all donations are greatly appreciated
