A delegate's journey to Cleveland!

Hello, my name is Brian Bledsoe and I have the honor to be elected National Delegate (Ted Cruz Delegate #2) by Texas Congressional District 24 to attend the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio.

This was my first time running for anything as well as going out and fundraising so all this feels kind of awkward for me as I'm typing this but I felt this is a opportunity to serve and look forward to go to Cleveland in July! A few years ago, I was in attendance at a Tea Party meeting and it was stated that more conservatives should run for delegates in the convention. So from there I decided to go for it and put the effort in to become a delegate.

I've talked to numerous people in learning the rules and procedures to become a delegate but the one thing I didn't account for was the amount of money needed to go to the national convention. With this short period of time, I thought it was best to have a fundraiser to help meet the cost of making the trip.

The Republican National Convention is July 18th-July21st but thereally are various committee meetings (Organization, Platform, Credentials, Rules)  that are scheduled a week before. The majority of the agenda is made during this time and I would like to attend to not only get a better understanding of the process the next week but I will be able to provide more content to everyone here first before I share it on social media.
