Briana South's Medical Support Fund

On wednesday November 16th, Briana went into the emergency room at Indian Path Hospital. She was experiencing bleeding out of the nose and mouth, memory loss, confusion, headaches, arm tremors, leg cramps, and nausea. After running many many tests wednesday night into thursday morning, they decided to transfer her to Johnson City Medical Center. Since then, she has seen doctors of all kinds and done many more tests. Most of the tests are coming back clear which is a good thing. However, there is clearly something wrong that they need to find so they can treat her symptoms and get her healthy again. She goes through seizure like "spells" on and off throughout the day and these are the biggest concern! The 24 hour EEG showed some signs of concern and that's the best lead thus far. As of yesterday November 20th, they have decided to send her to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She will be going there as soon as a bed opens up (PRAY a bed opens ASAP). We hope and pray that once she gets to Vanderbilt she will get the answers she not only wants but needs. We need our girl out of the hospital and healthy again!

I, her best friend, have made this page in order to raise money for her and her family. Charlotte, her mother, is the sole provider for her family and is having to be off of work in order to stay at the hospital with her. Obviously, Briana is also having to be off work during this time and so is her brother Josh. The bills have already started to add up, and they will only continue to grow once she gets to Vanderbilt and the family has to pay for more medicial bills and out of town expenses. Her and her mom are two of the most hard working women you'll ever meet. By no means would they ever ask for help, but they derserve and need it now more than ever! The South family has some of the strongest faith and the biggest hearts I've ever witnessed and how it has shown over this past week has been so overhelming! Briana keeps saying that she is not afraid and if this doesn't show it, I dont know what does. God is so good even in the dark times! This family is loved by so many and would do anything for anyone. Please find it in your heart to donate any amount you can. No amount is too small and all amounts are beyond greatly appreciated. Please also leave a note for Briana and her family because the words of encouragement and love are so uplifting during this time.
