Update: 5/9/2019

As of 5/1/19, $82,313.39 has been raised to pave shoulders starting with the shoulder of Golf Rd also known as Hwy DR. The project is to pave 5 ft on both sides of this road from Maple Avenue and Greenwood Lane. $70,000 was given to Waukesha County to take over this project. First the project needed to be approved by several Waukesha County boards. The County Board Finance Committee passed this February 20, 2019, then it was passed by the Public Works Committee and finally the full County Board. Bids then went out and the project has been quoted to be done for $64,000. Now the County is working with the paving company to get a time this work will be done. We are all hoping this shoulder will be paved by Father’s Day 2019, which will be two days after Brian Yagoda’s passing one year ago. The family is also looking into dedicating the road to Brian Yagoda’s Memory. Thank you everyone for your continued support!

This is a fundraiser to help pave the shoulders on Golf Road in Delafield, WI in honor of Dr. Brian Yagoda who passed away after being hit by a vehicle while riding his bicycle on Golf Road (June 14, 2018).

Brian (57 years old) was a loving husband, dedicated father, and caring grandfather. His wife Shirley, oldest daughter Kylie, married to TJ, only son Jared, married to Aubrey, youngest daughter Allyse, and only granddaughter Skylar, will miss him forever. Shirley and Brian were married for 33 years, about to celebrate their 34th anniversary in August 2018.
He was a pediatrician at ProHealth in Muskego for over 20 years. He impacted many lives throughout his practice, going above and beyond by being a selfless support for every concern of his patients and their families. He helped people outside the office by being available: After hours, in emergencies, for his family, for non-patients, for anyone who asked, he was always there. He went to St. Anthony's Sister Perish in Peru on a mission trip to give medical assistance to the people in need, who don't have the opportunity available for them.
Brian loved biking: motorcycles and bicycles, participating in many charity rides (such as the MS Bike tour for the National MS Society)  as well as recreational events (such as the Hilly Hundred). He biked with his family and alone for his own relaxation. He was an avid gardener, indoors and out. He enjoyed photography, mostly of his family. He was very interested in music and movies, collecting and sharing his likes. He had hot sauce with almost every meal, with a beer in hand ready to share his tastes.
Brian was loved by all and will be missed by all. He touched more lives than we can count, the number grows each day. He will be remembered because of what he did in his life, and what he did for the community. He will be remembered in his passing by continuing to help the community by making the roads a safe place to ride bicycles.
