Brian Andersen (Kitchner) Memorial

Donation protected

Early morning on December 2nd, Brian Andersen, the oldest son of Westport music teacher Lou Kitchner, was a passenger in a car accident on I95. Tragically, his injuries were extreme,  and he died later that morning.

Lou Kitchner (Mr. K) is a single parent with two surviving sons, and those of us in the community know him as a kind and wonderful teacher who has spent his career helping our children. Now it is time for us to help him. Unfortunately we did not get to know Brian well, as he had just moved back from the Midwest, but by all accounts he was a smart, caring person and an amazing brother and son. He is also survived by his mother Rebekah and his sister Nicole.

We are asking for contributions to this campaign in order to allow Mr. K to give his son Brian a fitting and proper burial and memorial, to the extent such expenses are not covered by other means.  All the funds will go directly to Mr. K, for him to use as necessary to pay for a final resting place for Brian, and other relevant expenses in this time of need.  Due to the overwhelming response so far, we have increased the fundraising goal with the intent that remaining money can help the Kitchener family with other needs during this difficult time, and possibly fund higher education for Brian's brothers in his memory.

Please join us in helping make this terrible tragedy just a tiny bit better for the Kitchner family.
