My name is Corey Carruth and I'm raising funds to help my dear friend Brian Guy who has been diagnosed with and has been fighting Stage 3 squamous cell skin cancer.
Brian is the sole provider for his family of 3 young boys, (8, 9 & 9 months) and his loving wife Desiree.
After the doctors initially removed the growth on Brian's neck (multiple) times they admitted that is not going to solve it and could do more harm which led to Brian getting further analyis and testing.
The Stage 3 cancer has attached to the lymph node and muscle therefore they will be removing the left lymph node, muscle and some teeth due to the daily radiation treatments that will follow the surgery.
The plastic surgeon will take tissue and skin graph from Brian's thigh to repair the facial and neck area. Brian will remain in the hospital for 5 days after the surgery so the plastic surgeon can monitor how the skin graph is taking to the new area.
Once the area has healed, about 2-3 weeks after surgery, he will start radiation treatments to the area 5 days a week for 6-8 weeks. He will have to do physical therapy after as well to learn how to use his neck again with the removed muscle.
Brian does not have medical insurance, would never ask any of us for help if it was left to him... Brian has ALWAYS helped anyone he could since far before I ever had the pleasure of knowing him and is highly respected amongst every one of his peers.
Brian is an incredibly giving, brilliant, passionate, and hard working gentlemen who has spent nearly 2 decades elevating the industry of automotive detailing. In my opinion a share of the reason MANY detailers are as succesful as they are today can be traced back to the hard work and efforts of Brian Guy.
Brian, Desiree, and their 3 boys could REALLY use our assistance and I am extremely grateful for your help. I see Brian a couple times a week and every time he has a smile on his face and is thinking and talking about how he can help this person or that person.
He may be the most selfless person I know... If EVERY person that Brian has ever helped would give just a little, it would equate to a big difference in the comfort of the Guy family and lessen their level of stress towards finances and medical bills during this very hard time.
The funds are needed urgently and all that is collected will help with the medical bills, rehabilitation, and with care for Brian and his family including food, monthly bills, and the day to day needs for which they will need our assistance.
