Bria's Cancer Survival Family fund

On March 7, 2017, Bria went in for a routine hysterectomy for endometriosis. The surgeon just happened to decide during the surgery to take out her appendix, which ended up being full of cancer, called Carcinoid (a neuroendocrine cancer). The next step for treatment of Bria's cancer is surgery, which she will have on April 18th, 2017. This surgery will determine if the cancer has spread to her colon and lymph nodes. Bria is a single mom of Sam (12) and Gabe (9), and is supporting her family as a self-employed court reporter. This career is commission based. There are no benefits like paid sick days, short term/long disability or FMLA. Her recovery time from these surgeries totals 4 months without being able to work. 
For all who know Bria, you know she would never ask for money, even in this time crisis for her and her boys. She is the most selfless person I know, has a beautiful soul, and is bravely facing this cancer head on.
