Genetic Testing For NF2

Hello my name is Dawn I am the mother of Aurora. My beautiful daughter had surgery to remove a 6 cm cyst that doctors thought was on the back of her neck. Once the doctors were in surgery they found out it was a tumor called a Schwannoma. These tumors are rare, and Aurora's was in a strange place on her body too. Now the doctors are concerned that she my have NF2. This is a form of neurofibromatosis that can cause tumors in the brain, hearing loss, and blindness.

In order to rule out that it is or not NF2 Aurora needs genetic testing to be sent to University of Alabama. Of course health insurance will not pay any of it. The money that we are asking for would cover Aurora's blood draw, shipping fee, NF2 comprehensive, and smarcb1 comprehensive. Anything you can do would be greatly appreciated.
