As most of you know our dear friend Brent Perremore has been diagnosed with a condition known as Guillain-Barre Syndrome. This Rare disorder causes your immune system to attack your peripheral nervous system (PNS), the damaged nerve cells in turn cause ascending nerve paralysis.
Brent has been in the ICU since Saturday and has very little use of his legs and hands. He faces a very long road to recovery and will need intensive rehabilitation for many months to regain his ability to walk and use his hands again.
On top of the obvious stress of the huge medical and rehabilitation bills which Brent and ash face, they have now been told they they will have to move house as their current home has too many stairs and is not suitable for Brent’s mobility issues. This now adds hugely to their costs as they will have to find the deposit for a new house and moving costs.
Ash and Brent are due to be married in just over 5 weeks and this illness has come out of nowhere and turned their world upside down. However in spite of this they have shown such strength, positivity and fight.
I would just like to ask everyone to give what ever they can no matter how little to go towards relieving some of the financial pressure being placed upon them so they can focus all of their attention on Brent’s recovery. We are all behind you guys xxx
