Brennen was deceitfully removed from the parent's custody, via secret ExParte order in 2010 by his aunt and uncle. Brennen was to be gone for FOUR days in Sept 2010 on a family vacation. Meanwhile, mother was diagnosed with pneumonia the next day. Aunt and uncle convince the parents to leave Brennen with them until they are not contagious. The parents won in the TN Court of Appeals and the Robertson Co TN Chancery Court. The case was remanded for findings on KIDNAPPING, PERJURY, and ABUSE OF PROCESS. The parents were then gagged and faced criminal contempt charges for creating Bring Brennen Home... all while they had NO ATTORNEY and were INDIGENT. The judge made the parents drop the Kidnapping trial because he said the Appeals Court was wrong to remand the case for the mother's counter claim. Next the judge terminated the parental rights to the parents on the ground of ABANDONMENT only. Now the parents are going back to the TN Court of Appeals for the 2nd time.
The biological parental rights are advocates voicing the need for Family Law Reform across America. We are lobbying in Washington DC and across the United States. The mother is speaking publicly and writing an upcoming book. She has become an advocate for a child's right to their biological family. She supports a change to the Adoption and Safe Families Act and Title IV Federal Funding. The father is a service-connected Disabled Veteran with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. The court is setting a case precedent that US Veterans don't deserve to have children if they develop PTSD.
Seven times in 6.5 years the parents have tried to have a legal hearing for the loss of custody in the juvenile court, but the judges will not allow it because they are protecting Magistrate Melanie Stark, who that violated the law. This is America and the parents deserve justice. This is called a 72 Hour hearing. By Tennessee law this hearing must be done within 72 hours. Almost 7 years have passed and no hearing!!
The biological parents have lost everything in this fight. They have lost their careers, their home on 6 acres, all possessions, vehicles, and have been deeply traumatized by the lack of justice in America.
