Saturday, I will attending The Pink Affair, a fundraising gala put on by Turning Point Breast Cancer Rehabilitation. In honor of Brenda, I am attempting something AMAZING...I am going to raise $5000 for this cause by this Saturday...
Last summer, I was introduced to this amazing organization. After a tour and meeting some of the incredible staff, many of whom are breast cancer survivors themselves, I knew I had to get involved. I believe in Turning Point and it's caring staff truly represent the love and compassion that Brenda Dixon demonstrated everyday.
TurningPoint is a non-profit clinic providing specialized and evidence-based rehabilitation for women with breast cancer, including physical therapy, exercise, lymphedema management, massage therapy, counseling and nutritional counseling. They offer a wide variety of educational programs on topics related to breast cancer survivorship for patients and caregivers.
