Breast Cancer Treatment /Expenses

Hi, this is Cynthia Brown. As many of you know, I recently received a breast cancer diagnosis.  My profession is a part-time background actor for tv shows. I seek acting work from day to day, with no guarantee of work, no paid holidays or work-related health insurance. Unless my day goes into overtime, I make $84 dollars per 8-hour day for my work. 

Because of my low income, I do have Medi-Cal. I've been diagnosed from USC LA County Hospital. I would like to seek medical treatment outside the (limited option) Medi-Cal based system, but I cannot afford to pay for this out-of-pocket.

I've already missed lots of work days due to chronic fatigue and going to numerous doctor appointments. I don't like to ask for help and I've been working as hard as I can, but often fall into utter exhaustion: actor work days can sometimes be 12 hours, and  go until 3 am.  That's the only time I make decent money, but then it leaves me very exhausted because of my cancer. 

The money I raise will help me pay for medical expenses, nutritional supplements, healthier foods, missed work, and living expenses I cannot cover with my small income.  I've done lots of non-profit fundraising for worthy causes and gathered food and clothing for the homeless throughout my life, now it's time for me to humble myself and ask others for help.

I know lots of you are also struggling, so whatever you can contribute is very much appreciated. I do need the funds as soon as possible, because my cancer is invasive ductal breast cancer, that means it is spreading through the duct system.
