My life has always been full. My life took its first authentic path when I joined the Marine Corps. My wife and I raised three biological children, one with "special needs." We also helped raise a niece due to unexpected family difficulties. Braxton’s Century came to life after I suffered an accident in 2016 and was only able to work part-time as a Financial Planner for an extended period. I ’d go for long walks to exercise and focus my thoughts. During those walks in the inspiring beauty of San Diego, I reverted to the “daydreaming, window gazing, wildly imaginative” days of my youth. Those walks gave birth to Prince Braxton. My friends and others who have read the book love it, even in its original badly written state.
In the course of my life, I realized that I was living a life that wasn’t really my authentic self. My then wife is now my ex-wife, we are still great friends and visit as a family regularly. As I am just a guy trying to live the best life I can. I think my character, Prince Braxton, really exemplifies being true to who you are My hope is that this book can not only entertain history lovers, especially royal watch; but also empower people trapped in a life that does not embody their true-self.
I need your help to pay the expenses associated with having my exciting first novel, Braxton's Century published. There are many expenses involved such as editing, marketing, recording and engineering the audiobook, formatting the EBook, book design, cover design, the list of tasks to get a book into reader’s hands goes on and on. I found an awesome little Hybrid Publisher who wants to help me and they say the book has the feel of the great historical fiction books of Ken Follett, what an honor to get compared to that famous novelist!
Once the book is ready for the public, we will have to cover the cost of printing for the book itself!
