Brandon Grano Memorial Fund

Brandon Grano was a friend, brother, son, classmate, and loved one to many. He was 21 years old and attended Bentley University. Growing up in Hillsboro, NH, Brandon worked extremely hard to shape his bright future. He was kind, intelligent, and had a heart that was pure and filled with love. After battling depression for many years, Brandon took his own life on September 25th, 2015. Unfortunately, mental illness is often a silent sickness that goes unnoticed.

He was a car-enthusiast, loved the outdoors, music and learning. Graduating from Hillsboro-Deering’s Class of 2013, Brandon was a part of a strong, loving community. He never failed to make his friends laugh through his sarcastic comments, or to inspire through talking about something he was passionate about. His life-long goal was to start a career and build a family of his own. He had a smile that could light up a room. (He’d shake his head at me for using that cliché, but it’s the best way I can describe the look on his face when he was truly happy).

With this tragedy comes a great unexpected financial need. The money raised will go to the family to help with funeral expenses. Any extra money collected will be donated to organizations supporting suicide awareness.

Let us all stand together in this time of need and celebrate the life of a genuine, caring soul.
