[BRACKET!] Face Your Fear 2018

Tax deductible

Cullen Jennings is terrified of jack-o-lanterns.  A genuine, irrational fear. This is not a joke.

Cullen's deep-seeded fear of ghoulish gourds began in third-grade at the fall carnival when an elderly woman told the kids spooky stories about Halloween. The woman told him a "history" of jack-o-lanterns involving witches, curses, and long story short, Cullen thinks there are demons inside pumpkins. Again, and I can't stress this enough, this is not a joke.

So we're going to make him fight the demons.

[BRACKET!] 's Face Your Fear 2018 is an inaugural fundraiser where one of our hosts must come face-to-face with their own fears to raise money for a charity or non-profit of their choice. In the lead-up to Spooky Month (October), we're raising funds for United Way of Central Virginia .

Based out of Lynchburg, United Way of Central Virginia works with agencies in Virginia communities to help reduce the poverty rate, assist families with shelter and recovery from abuse, improving graduation rates, lowering barriers to health care, and much more. While we are not directly working with UWCV, all donations will be donated directly to UWCV through GoFundMe and Paypal Giving Fund.

If we raise $200, Cullen will fight and destroy a jack-o-lantern with his bare hands. We'll film it and share the duel with you. Every $100 after that will raise the stakes -- we'll add more pumpkins to the total, provide Cullen with tools to defend himself, make him hunt down the jack-o-lanterns in a spooky field at sunset...and he'll say yes to whatever because he's an idiot.
