Thank you for reading this, For the past 10 months myself and my constant canine companion have found ourselfs homeless even thought my Dog Oberon is a trained assistance dog, we still had to endure 23 days and nights between FebMarch 2015 in the freezing cold, by the 18th of March I was close to death, I contracted Pneumonia, lucky for me I had a considerate man in the local council building push the issue with the homeless hotel in Eastbourne.
It was juring that stay I was threatened with homelessness again, I could not afford his Jacket which was £60, I had no money. This was my lowest point and was ready just to take my life, then something wonderful happened a group I belong to Tibeten Terriers on Facebook save my life and collected so much we were safe at last his jacket, insurance food treats toys bedding jackets all for Oberon.
Since then I have been contacting ever Local council in England and asking them there policys on homelessness and the homeless that has a DogCat, its shameful a lot of the responces from these places and yet most of them have animals of there own and understand.
So what do I need funding for well I will tell you, I plan to contact every council then every hotel that houses the homeless remember people who are in these places are in a dark place and those that have been made to give up a beloved pet suffer even more, not to metion the animal in a sherlter and what happens if they cant rehome the animal? would you belive me if I told you they put it to sleep, just because it only wants to be with its mummy or daddy.
This must stop, I want to do a weekly video blog, but need equipment badly I have tried Freecycle for stuff but no joy, need ink catrages for my printer Cannon pixma and material for the Yule coming up I want to take the cause to London and ram the CCC down the goverments throat and let them know we are coming.
Not with raised fists but with love of our beloved Pets Dogs, Cats and goldfish, its time the powers that be we vote for realize that the attitude to pets is not in keeping with the public love for our four legged friends.
Your funds will not only get us up and running but I can do lots more travel all over from Brighton to Liverpool, Mancherster.
