Boys & Girls Clubs of the Peninsula
Donation protected
Hi, my name is C.J. Easter. I am the owner of the Performance Science Training Institute and a former Stanford football player.
Today is my 29th birthday.
While I do appreciate the birthday shout outs and the well wishes, that's not the reason that I'm telling you this.
Each year on my birthday, I raise money for a cause that I am passionate about. Last year, we raised money for the Breast Cancer Research Fund. You can check out our fundraising page for the BCRF here: https://give.bcrfcure.org/fundraise?fcid=365161
While the battle to end breast cancer is still a cause that is important to me (one which my business will be raising money for in October), this year I wanted to have a more tangible impact for local kids.
So this year, I have decided to raise money for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Peninsula.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Peninsula provides the low-income youth of our community with the opportunities they need to achieve school success, graduate from high school, and pursue post-secondary education.
Today, my goal is to inspire 100 people to donate $29. I have led the way by donating $290 personally.
Here's exactly how your donation will be invested in our local youth:
$500 will provide one team of 10 elementary students with coaching and jerseys for a ten-week indoor soccer league.
$1000 will fund summer scholarships for 5 elementary students in the Summer Learning Academy.
$1500 will pay for a bus to take 45 middle school students on a tour of Cal State East Bay, Santa Clara University, and San Jose State.
$2000 will allow 10 middle school girls to participate in a 10 week technology and engineering elective.
$2900 will allow five high school students to benefit from SAT tutoring in the College Bound Program.
Remember, every dollar counts. But if you can't make a donation right now, help us reach our goal by sharing this page on Facebook and Twitter. Or, even better, send an e-mail to friends you think might be interested in contributing and include a link to our page.
Thank you so much for your generosity. You are truly helping us invest in the futures of our local youth.
