Bountiful Babies Travels to Prague

Bountiful Babies arose as a grassroots nonprofit response to the need in our community for parent, child, and family support. We are part of The Bountiful Alliance, a 501(c)3 nonprofit in Sierra County, New Mexico. We focus on empowering and connecting families, especially those with children under age 3.
Wendy Sager- Evanson and Jessica Murphy, the co-directors of Bountiful Babies, are raising funds to finance a trip to Prague, Czech Republic, this summer to present a poster at the 15th Congress of the World Association of Infant Mental Health. The poster is entitled "Holding Our Babies in Community - Making Ring Slings" and will outline our efforts to give parents the tools they need to meet the needs of babies and toddlers during those critical first years of child development.
Any funds raised will be used toward travel expenses for the two poster authors. Having two women travel from Truth or Consequences, NM to a prestigous conference in Europe is an incredible opportunity, but cannot be accomplished without community support. We need your help!
Our ring sling project has been the single most powerful project Bountiful Babies has accomplished in their three years of existence. 46 ring slings have made their way out into our community with the help of multiple volunteers, donations, and hard work. Now is our chance to share our project with many others and get even more babies where they need to be - in the arms of their loved ones.
