Boundless Art nurtures the creative potential of youth struggling with chronic illness
Who are we ?
Boundless is a project created by us ! Two best friends who have shared one of life's biggest challenges; chronic illness. Vicki having fought cystic fibrosis and Alix late-stage neuro lyme disease, have come together to share their greatest remedy yet: A creative outlet.
What is Boundless?
Boundless Art fulfills its mission by delivering creativity bags to youth and young adults with chronic illness. We inspire an environment that encourages playfulness, unleashes their imagination and opens a window for self-healing. Each creativity bag filled with art supplies is delivered to young patients while they are recovering in a hospital or homebound setting. We believe facilitating a creative outlet is essential for long term recovery.

Project #1
In Spring of 2015 BA will be hand delivering the creativity bags to 50 children at hospitals in the tri-state area. After a given time and upon the patients discretion we ask that one canvas be used to paint a positive from their illness and a negative on the other side. If you do choose to participate then we will circle back to pick up your completed canvas.
These powerful pieces will be returned from the creativity bags so that we may display a tapestry of our inspired young adult’s collective vision. Once assembled, we will organize a gallery exhibition. This event will feature our young artists and invite our community to participate in further fund-raising and awareness. All proceeds will be used to provide creativity bags for future patients resulting in a “patient-helping-patient” reciprocal benefit.
Present into the Future
This mini project is a pilot project in order to prepare the distribution of bags to a greater population of youth. To record the process, we will be creating a video edit of the journey and posting the results in a larger crowd funding campaign. You may contribute to our mission by sharing with friends, family, or donating.
By having a reason to step away from your body one removes the decease that illness creates. At last, allowing the body to heal.
