The Boston Pledge: Assam Chapter

This is Avik Barua from The Boston Pledge (TBP).
I would like to announce an initiative to launch the Assam Chapter - a fundraising program for the state of Assam in India.
The Boston Pledge is a non-profit whose goal is to proactively reach out to underprivileged communities with a focus on education, health, small-scale industry development, cultural renaissance and service-sector revitalization. Help in all these areas is sorely needed in Assam, a state constrained by a history of insurgency, lack of adequate investment, and floods that cause devastation every year. Yet beneath it all, lies a population of hard working, creative, and hopeful people.
With your contributions, we can create enabling resources that will be able to foster growth in the variety of areas the Pledge operates in. Together we can make a difference!
