Please Help Boss Get His Surgeries

Boss is the most amazing dog I have ever met let alone owned. He has brought so much joy and love to us. But he has also brought so much love and happiness to others. We would be selfish to not share him with others. He is a gentle giant. He loves his family so much and other animals. Children are his favorite though. He thinks that all chidlren are his and he needs to protect them all. I have had people tell me that even though they have not met him in person that they love him so much and his pictures make them happy. He truely brings happiness to people all over the place. He is just a special boy who has so much love to give. 
He will cheer anyone up on a bad day. I feel like he is a dog that was meant to be here so he can make others happy and show them love and kindness. Anyone who has met him he has made an impact on.

He tore his acl in both back legs.
I understand that people think that the amount of money it will be is way too much. I need to get a 2nd opinion. I have talked to at least 10 vet in 5 different states. We dont have very many vets in town who are board certified and who will do the tplo surgery to begin with.  The price has been pretty much the same with who ive talked to. We have 3 options for treatment for him.
1) let it heal on its own.  Well he previously partially tore his acl on his right leg and it healed on its own. And then re tore.  I was told it will keep doing that until he is no longer able to use his legs.
2) extracapsular surgery which is $3,000  it isn't recommended for dogs over 80lb and has a very high rate of re taring the ligament. We have been advised by several vets that we shouldn't do that based in his size and how heavy he is and how active he is.
3) the tplo surgery which has a very high success rate espicially in younger healthy dogs.  Boss is only 2 years old. It to me seems like smartest thing and best option for him to have a full and happy life. He deserves to be able to run and play and be a happy boy. The surgery isn't cheap and has taken a lot of time and tears but I feel like it is the right choice for boss and for us. I pray that it will all go well and he will make a great and speedy recovery. 
I want to give him the best chance at a great active life. The surgery is the best way that we can do that for him.
If you know him you know that he is full of life and I want to keep him that way for as long as I can.  So I am asking for help and prayers.
We can really use the help with this. Anything can help. This came out of no where and not something that I was prepared for. I greatly appreciate you taking the time to read this and if you can help out we would be very thankful for any help we can get with this.
