On the 2nd of March, Matt Bevans of Farnborough Football Club unfortunately sustained his second ACL career threatening injury.
This was Matt's second spell at the Boro, both ending in this horrible type of injury.
As Matt will be unable to work, we have set up this page to help Matt through what will be a difficult period financially during his recovery.
Matt has been a fantastic player for Boro and we will miss his calm presence at the back for the remainder of the season.
We wish him a speedy recovery and hope to see him back at Farnborough next season.
