$587 of $500 goal

Raised by 19 people in 16 days
This year, in honor of our annual Bordoni Extreme 5k event and to support the Christopher Bordoni Scholarship, we are raising money to show a local athlete our support. Dillon Shaffer is running in his first ever Boston Marathon on April 15, 2019. He has completed over half a dozen marathons, an Ironman, two ultramarathons and numerous other competitions. He is also a former U.S. Army Officer, who served four years in defense of our Nation. As a veteran and athlete, he is raising money for the scholarship as well as the upkeep and expansion of the Bordoni trailhead along the Cayuga Waterfront Trail. While completing a marathon is not the ultimate sacrifice, our hope is to show him and the Bordoni Family our support through your donation. We encourage you to donate what you can, even giving a dollar per mile, will help to support the Christopher Bodoni Scholarship recipients. Thank you very much for your support. You can follow him on April 15th at the Boston Marathon Website, his number is 991.
